Inspired by the great Champagnes that Grace and Ken Evenstad have tasted throughout their lives, Domaine Serene’s ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Dundee Hills Brut Multi-Vintage Sparkling Wine is composed of some of our most coveted Single Vineyard sites. Labeled M.V. 2, short for Multi-Vintage 2nd Edition, this second release of this coveted wine continues to raise the bar for New World Sparkling Wines that rival those crafted in the top Champagne Houses in France.
The M.V.2 is extremely expressive, with aromatics of golden apple, soft citrus and a touch of graphite on the nose. Extended time on the lees imparts not only a sumptuous waft of brioche but also adds texture on the palate. Electric acidity perfectly counter-balances the wine’s classic Champagne-like richness. Reserve wine added in the blending process imparts a complexity which ensures that this second multi-vintage release will be even more well-received than its predecessor.
