The Beaurepaire comes from two different parcels in the same vineyard – one lower-elevation plot rich in clay and one higher-elevation plot with more limestone and minerals combine to create complexity in this wine. Traditionally, plots of different elevations are harvested at different times due to differing ripeness levels. However, to create this balanced Chardonnay, all fruit was harvested at the same time. This detail allows for an exotic fruit component that is high in acidity. Notes of beeswax and honeysuckle finish with a tingly sensation in the back of your throat, reminiscent of lemon water.

Santenay

The wines of Santenay exhibit distinct characteristics stemming from their specific terroirs within the appellation. Established in 1937, the Santenay AOC status underscores the area's viticultural significance. The terroir comprises grayish limestone dominating the higher elevations up to 500 meters, transitioning into oolitic limestones, marls, and other geological formations lower down the slope. This diverse landscape, coupled with an optimal vineyard exposure ranging from east to south, contributes to the quality and complexity of the wines produced in the region. We have been proud owners of Santenay vineyards since 2015, bringing innovation to the rich heritage of the land and wines.
