Nestled in the heart of Santenay-le-Haut, its western exposure, old vines, and terroir of gravelly clay soil and sandy subsoil produce concentrated Pinot Noirs of great structure and density, with dark fruits and a hallmark spiciness.

The 2020 Château de la Crée, Santenay La Confrérie Pinot Noir is an elegant wine with a plush, concentrated mouthfeel and a delicate balance of ripe fruit flavors. Tasting notes include cranberry sauce, cherry cola, plum, cola, and black cherry. The wine is lush and developed in the mouth, but never tannic or overwhelming—it's the perfect wine to pair with a rotisserie chicken dinner.
