‘Monogram’ is a selection of fruit from our three vineyard estates and relies heavily on Dijon clone Pinot Noir to provide dark fruit flavors and structure. This brooding wine offers a complex and layered aroma profile with notes of black cherry, black plum, anise, and tar. On the palate, the wine is powerful, rich, and structural while still retaining its balance. The dark and brooding characters persist in this wine that offers tremendous flavor density and great persistence.

Why Monogram?

Only certain vintages have the depth, richness and dark fruited characteristics which are worthy of going into ‘Monogram’. ‘Monogram’ is aged 16 months in 100% new French Oak barrels and further aged 18 months in bottle before release. It is truly the epitome of American Pinot Noir and offers handsome rewards after years of proper cellaring.

About ‘Monogram’

Fulfilling the vision of Domaine Serene's late co-founder Ken Evenstad, ‘Monogram’ embodies a robust and more structured style of Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. Made in extremely small volumes, ‘Monogram’ is thoughtfully blended from our finest barrels, hand-selected from our cellars, and carefully aged until it is perfectly developed.
