We're thrilled to be part of Oregon Wine Month, a special time dedicated to celebrating the diverse and rich winemaking heritage of our state alongside other esteemed Oregon wineries.
Oregon Wine Month is not just a time to raise a glass; it's a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us to where we are today.
Our History
From humble beginnings rooted in the vision of Grace and Ken Evenstad to our position as pioneers of Oregon's luxury wine industry, Domaine Serene represents the achievement that is possible in Oregon winemaking. In 1989, when the national market for domestic Pinot Noir was still in its infancy, Grace and Ken took a leap of faith, investing in a 42-acre hilltop estate in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. With the establishment of our state-of-the-art five-level gravity flow winery, Domaine Serene not only set a new standard for excellence but effectively laid the groundwork for Oregon's rise to prominence in the world of wine.
Over the years, Domaine Serene expanded its portfolio of wines to include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé, a robust sparkling wine program, and more. Each wine is crafted with the same dedication to quality and innovation that defines Domaine Serene. Today, our wines hail from seven individual vineyard estates in the Willamette Valley, each contributing its own unique terroir to our portfolio. With 1,000 acres under our stewardship—350 of which are planted to vines, including 300 dedicated to Pinot Noir and 50 to Chardonnay—Domaine Serene continues to push the boundaries of what Oregon wine can achieve.
