The 2012 vintage Pinot Noir from our Jerusalem Hill Vineyard displays many of the site-driven characters that make this wine special. Our Eola Hills-estate grown Pinot Noir offers upfront sweet and spicy characteristics on the nose, including vanilla, clove, roasted nuts, and dark, dried fruit. On the palate, the wine is silky and well-balanced with concentrated, opulent flavors. This wine delivers a great balance between both richness and flavor-driven intensity, along with a wonderfully persistent finish.

About Jerusalem Hill Vineyard
Located 16 miles south of the Dundee Hills, Jerusalem Hill Vineyard hails from the Eola-Amity winegrowing region. This unique vineyard is rooted in rich Woodburn sedimentary soils deposited into the valley during the Missoula Floods some 13,000 to 15,000 years ago.
This vineyard site is positioned at our lowest elevation and is known for its wind exposure, making it our most-vintage-affected wine. Because of the unique aspect and terroir, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful surprise each year upon release. In cooler years, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard tends to exhibit a forest-like character with savory and spicy notes, while in warmer years, this Pinot Noir reflects spring’s vibrant fruit and lively characteristics.
